50 minute counselling session via videoconference or telephone

Hello, and welcome to Matters of the Mind!

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and a member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (#21015).

I believe counselling is a tool everyone can benefit from. Holding space while being respectful, genuine, warm, authentic and curious, helps me to create safety within the counselling relationship. Through therapeutic conversations, my clients experience a supported opportunity to self-discover and uncover strengths as they shift, change, grow, and heal.

I operate with an overarching belief that we are all doing the best we can, with the skills and resources we have at the time. In that sense, if you choose to meet with me, you will see how I encourage self-compassion as a strategy to move through guilt and shame that keeps up stuck.

I currently reside in Quesnel, BC; otherwise known as the unceded and traditional territory of the Lh’tako Dene Nation. I am of mixed Indigenous and caucasian descent, and am BIPOC and 2SLGBTQI+ allied. I’m available across BC for virtual counselling service via Zoom videoconference or telephone. At this time, I am exclusively seeing individual adult clients (19+).

Looking forward to speaking with you!
